PAYMENT METHODS
In order to make the purchasing process easier for the user of our online store, www.coffeeunion.gr offers the following payment methods:
- Transfer to a bank account.
The company has accounts to the following banks: National bank of Greece, Eurobank Greece, Alpha Bank Greece and Piraeus Bank Greece. After the user chooses one of the four bank accounts, the bank account details are sent along with the order confirmation e-mail.
- Credit card payment.
Credit card payment is available through the secure page of Piraeus Bank.
- Cash on delivery, only for local pick up.
This option is available only for pick ups from our company located at Ieropigis and Frangoklisias str, Acharnes, 13672, Greece.
For purchases over 60 € shipping costs are free of charge.
There might be different shipping charges in coffee machines or other heavy products when on sales. Please carefully read the description.
Also at www.coffeeunion.gr you are given the option to choose whether to pay by retail or invoice. Invoice will be issued by the traders, if the user chooses and fills in the following information on their order: Name, Tax ID, Tax office, and object of activity.
The total shipping charge for Greece is three euros and 10 cents (€ 3.10) including VAT regardless of the shipping method and the payment method. For orders over 60 €, shipping costs to Greece are covered by our company.
VAT
The prices listed in the relevant lists below each product include VAT. VAT on all consumable products is 13% while on machines, cups, glasses and non-edible products is 24%. However, for some regions of Greece that are subject to reduced VAT rates, the prices of the products are lower than those indicated, at the reduced rate. If the customer has a business headquarters in such an area, then the final (reduced) VAT is calculated after the order has been placed.
Warning: The reduced VAT rate applies only to wholesale or when invoices are issued.

These prices apply to the quantities available in our warehouse, while www.coffeeunion.gr reserves the right to adjust prices.
SAFETY
The Website uses the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol for secure online trading. This encrypts all of the customer’s personal information, such as his credit card number, name and address, so that they cannot be read or modified during their transfer over the Internet.
SSL is today the world-wide-web standard for the certification of web sites for web users and for the encryption of data between web users and web servers. An encrypted SSL communication requires all information sent between a client and a server to be encrypted by the shipping software and decrypted by the receiving software, thereby protecting personal information during transmission. In addition, all information sent with the SSL protocol is protected by a mechanism that automatically checks if the data has been modified during transport.
